ACCOMODATION
A variety of residential options are available to students studying at Tower Polytechnic . For more information about accommodation options, please contact the Directorate of Student Welfare and Counseling Services. We make sure that you feel very much at home in order to make the environment more conducive.
HEALTH CARE
The Polytechnic health care center is being established to attend to students , staff and their dependants in respect or emergencies and minor ailments. It is not the intent of the center to duplicate or supercede services provided in the neighboring hospitals but to provide adequate medical care and health to all registered students, staff and their dependants .
STUDENTS CENTER
The Polytechnic has a student center to encourage interactions among the students and to provide an avenue for relaxation between lectures, meetings and tutorials.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
The Security department issues parking permits and enforces traffic regulations, which are to be obeyed by all and sundry. All thefts, vandalism or accidents should be reported to the security office immediately.
Students are advised to be in possession of ID cards at all times for identification upon request by security personnel. Students, who have no current driving license are not permitted to drive within and around the Polytechnic premises.
Library
Opening Hours: The Library's opening hours vary according to the following schedules
i) Semester Period:
Monday - Friday: 9.00 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday: 9.00a.m. - 2p.m.
Membership: The use of the Library is normally permitted to registered users only. Registration as a Library use r is open to all persons in the following categories:
i) Full and Part-time members of the Polytechnic Teaching and research staff, senior members of the Polytechnic administration.
ii) Registered Research Students
iii) Staff and Students
iv) Registered full and part-time students of the Polytechnic
v) Graduate Students of the Polytechnic
vi) Members of Parents' Forum
